Start in the Fields area of Fallen Village. Establish the conversation before collecting and returning the lovers’ possessions.

From the tree-cross landmark, take the left-hand path and collect the Lover’s Pendant. Keep that landmark as your starting point rather than following an unanchored “left” instruction.

Search upstairs in the large house for the lovers’ letter/drawing evidence. Check the upper floor before assuming the building is cleared.

Go back to the Scarecrow and hand over the pendant and letter. This advances the quest, but is not the final completion.

Find the barn with the diamond-shaped window. Reach the hayloft from the rear and interact with the lovers’ final memory by the two pillows.
