Privacy
Your checklist stays in your browser.
Local progress
Checklist states are saved in localStorage under a Valor Mortis Field Guide key on this device and browser. They are not sent to a server. Use “Reset checklist” on a guide to clear its progress, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove every saved list.
Storage availability
If browser storage is disabled or unavailable, checkboxes still work for the current page visit but may not persist. The page shows a notice when it cannot save.
Search and support template
Guide search runs locally against a bundled index. The crash-report form formats the information you enter locally; it does not send a support ticket. Copying a report uses your browser’s clipboard permission or lets you copy the displayed text manually.
External sites
Official store, support and editorial source links open external websites with their own privacy practices. There are no advertisements or third-party video embeds. Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request data to deliver and protect it. Cloudflare provides DNS. These services may process IP addresses, browser information and access logs under their own privacy policies.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics measures visits and navigation. Microsoft Clarity helps us understand clicks, scrolling and usability through session recordings. These scripts load only after you choose “Accept analytics”. We disable advertising consent and Google signals. Search fields and the crash-report form and output are masked for Clarity.
Choose “Reject optional” to use the site without these analytics, or reopen at any time. Your choice is stored in this browser. Rejecting after accepting stops collection on the reloaded page and clears the analytics cookies this site can access; it does not erase data already received by the providers.
