Valor Mortis Oathbound chamber

Pick up the final emblem from the defeated guardsman. Do not assume the kill alone completes the collection.
Return to Fortress / Courtyard. Take the corridor opposite the Lantern and find the hidden-wall chamber route associated with the stone slab.
Use the completed stone slab at the chamber, then read the note inside to finish the quest.
The documented chamber rewards include a Ferro Flask upgrade and a Quintessential Blade upgrade material.

Valor Mortis Oathbound: blade upgrade material
The Valor Mortis Oathbound chamber’s top-tier blade material should not be confused with Quintessential Transmutation Material. Trophy planning specifically needs a Transmutation material reserved for Shield; a sword upgrade does not replace it.
