From Marketplace in Fallen Village, locate the house with crying from its back room. Inspect the crib to establish the quest.

Go behind that house into the garden. Pick up the Weathered Key from the ground. It is not a purchase from a merchant.

Use the bridge to reach the hut across the water and unlock it with the Weathered Key.

Inside the hut, take the Toy from the bed. Finding the key alone does not finish the quest.

Bring the Toy back to the crying crib and interact there. The documented reward is Tomorrow’s Promise.

Valor Mortis Lullaby reward

Valor Mortis Lullaby: healing over time

The Valor Mortis Lullaby reward, Tomorrow’s Promise, makes flask healing happen over time. Using another flask resets the timer instead of stacking a second healing effect. Plan the flask timing around a safe opening rather than drinking repeatedly in quick succession.

Valor Mortis Lullaby missing items

For missing Valor Mortis Lullaby items, separate the three locations: the crib is inside the original house, the Weathered Key is on the ground behind it, and the Toy is on the bed in the locked hut across the water. After the pickup, the return interaction completes the route.
